秋まつり

HiHi!!

Today was Dallas' anuual Aki Matsuri!!
(Fall Festival)
This was the first time that I had ever gone, and I had such a great time! There were so many great people, such great food, lots of games and entertainment, and tons of adorable Shiba-Inus!!

桜もち!
This was my Sakura Mochi that was so yummy!
It's wrapped in the Sakura Leaf, and is a great Fall treat!
昼ご飯:狐うどん
This was my lunch: some very delicious Kitsune Udon!
This made me really miss Japanese food!
(>.<)

There weren't many, but this was one of the cosplayers we met today!
Besides Inuyasha, we also saw a Huruhi Suzumiya, and Mio & Yui from K-On!

The Baylor Students had a booth where you could play Janken with them!
This is my friend, Stephanie, playing with our friend, Kenta!
We met Kenta while in Japan, & right now he's studying at Baylor,
so it was really great to see him this weekend!
(She said she really wanted to play, just so that she could hit him with a paper fan...!)

Saw some Okinawan Traditional Drummers Perform
>>The music really made me think of Naruto.... (>.<) <<

Then there was some Japanese Traditional Dance

And then our friends from Baylor performed Soran Bushi!!!

They're did such a great job!
The crowd cheered throughout the whole performance!!

UNT's Japanese Culture Organization (JCO) is also supposed to perform Soran Bushi!
I'm so excited to start learning now!!
Maybe I can get Kenta to help me learn the dance????

Finding Nemo 3D!

HiHi!!

I went to see Finding Nemo in 3D!!

I love that although I hadn't seen it in forever, I still knew every word...
Nemo may not be one of my favorite Pixar films, but it's still such an amazing movie!
I still get choked up at the very end when Nemo returns to say he loves his dad.
And while I was watching it, I remembered the last time I had seen it in theaters:
I was in 5th grade!
And I remember how everyone kept reciting the infamous "E-Scape'!" line!!
Wow, I make it sound like I'm so old, haha!
But, overall, it was great to see it in theaters again!
It was cute, it was great, but I still don't like 3D movies much... (-_-)

Phone Cases

HiHi!!

This summer I finally got my upgrade & entered the 21st century & decided to buy an iPhone4!!
In Japan, I was able to buy a really cute case with K-On's Azunyan & Yui,
so I was really excited to get my new phone!
However, because I'm freaking clumsy with my phone,
I decided that it would be best to buy a case that was a bit more protective...

I ended up buying 2...
The first one was this freaking adorable dinosaur turtle... thing that I just could NOT resist!
And the second one was a little red penguin that was calling my name!

Summer Overview

HiHi!!

It was pretty crazy, and that's really the only way I can describe it!!!

Right after school got out at the end of May, for about a month, I was at UNT taking Japanese II. I moved into an apartment with Kim, her mom, and Nate... & that was... interesting...? Let's just say, the end of Maymester couldn't have come soon enough...
June 5th, my class met for our Final exam and sushi, then I was off to Dallas to prepare for departure!! On June 6th, I was on a plane with my friend, heading out to Narita International Airport!!! From the 6th to the 29th, I was in Japan, and... Wow... It was AMAZING!!! The, having to take classes and exams and stuff pretty much sucked, but actually BEING in Japan, was great! Now, I won't go into much detail, because I'm planning on making some youtube videos with all of my pictures and videos, so stay tuned!!

After Japan, I returned home. In SanAntonio, I spent about 2weeks "relaxing." And by that, I mean, cleaning the house and making it "Grandma Proof" for their visit. July 11th was my niece, Coraline's 1st Birthday, so, naturally, we had a huge party in celebration! Then after having 2separate birthday parties, we drove up to Dallas to celebrate my uncle's 50th birthday! This weekend was crazy: seeing a bunch of family members, lots of driving, and lots of cake! Then, on that following Monday, I left for California with my Dad for 2weeks.

While in California, I got to catch up on my NCIS series, got my new Build-A-Bear, && went to Disneyland for 2days! I flew back to SanAntonio August 1st, but the next day was on another plane with my mom and brother heading out to Florida!! We were headed to Disney World...

This summer marks my 4th visit to Disney World, & I still love it!! Our party included: my mom, little brother, Nicky; his best friend, Nico, and Nico's family (mom, sister, brother)... It was pretty crazy... I was the tour guide, and I did my best to give everyone what they wanted, but by the end of the weekend, I was about ready to strangle some of them... Nevertheless, I had a fun time! And after visiting all of the parks, we returned to SanAntonio, and I was finally able to have some relaxation time! That is, until the following weekend, when I attended SanJapan Mach 5!!

It was a lot of fun! I stayed at the hotel with my friends, the Harkiewiczes!! It was nice to see all of my friends, and all of the panels were great! This was definitely the most relaxing weekend of my summer!

And about a week later, I was on the road again headed back to Dallas! I moved into my Dorm on the 25th of August, back to work at Subway on the 26th, and school started on the 29th...

So, there you have it!! This summer, I was a world traveller!! From Denton, to Dallas, to Japan (and all over the island), home to SanAntonio,  back to Dallas, then to California, on to Florida, returning to San Antonio -again-, then BACK to Dallas, and to school in Denton....
Lots of fun, craziness, and pictures!!! Can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for me!!

What Happened To The Summer??? O.o

HiHi!!

 .....Seriously.... What Happened!?!?!

I guess I must have been SO BUSY that everything just flew by so quickly!! It's crazy to think that I'll be back at school next week! But, you know, I'm happy that I'll finally have time to myself. From traveling abroad, to celebrating back-to-back birthdays, flying across the country, and Anime conventions... Let's just say I have had quite an adventurous summer...!
Now that I FINALLY have free time, I'm gonna have to catch up on events from this summer!
Till Then!

REEER MADNESS!!!!

Spring 1936:

High school sweethearts, Jimmy and Mary are pushed into the new drug sensation, "MARIJUANA!"
The drugs are sweeping throughout the high school and causing mayhem with the help of the sly salesmen, Jack; his beaten wife, Mae; the sexy Blanche; and the deranged Ralph- from a hit and run accident, to manslaughter, attempted rape, and a dramatic descent into madness.
This Rated-R production is a must see for any Theatre lover!

This Spring, UNT's Theatre Department performed the musical that has claimed its place as my absolute favorite show to have worked on- Reefer Madness! I had never worked costumes in a show before, but it was great fun and an amazing experience!
No wonder Theatre people don't have any personal space! That weekend, I saw so many butts, thongs, and boobs to last me a good while!! ^-^
Personally, I don't think I would have been brave enough to parade around on stage in my underwear, but everyone was so amazing!! The musical talents were fantastic, and the costumes and choreography were astounding! When I got my costume list and on it was, "Harem Pants, Jesus Robe, Silver Chains, Lady Liberty, and Goat Man" ...... I had never been so confused in my life...... -___-

I'm glad was able to be apart of this production; it was a great experience: I made a ton of friends, and it made me really want to be involved in the Theatre department! I don't care if I get acting parts in the plays, I just want to try my best at every little thing I can, on or off the stage!! ^o^

My Lazy Day With Link!

However lame, nerdy, or "forever-alone" this sounds; since I had absolutely NOTHING to do one Spring Break day, I played Zelda: Ocarina of Time ALL DAY!!! >v<

Link is MY Hero of Time!!!
^o^
You see, I've been wondering for a long while how long it would take me to complete the game without having to do all of the side-stories or without ever leaving the Nintendo. SO, since I didn't work, Kim was gone, and I had the whole day and room to myself, I decided to try! With only taking an hour break to have dinner, it took me about 8hours and 45minutes to complete the game. I was totally thinking it'd only take me 6hours, but it was ok with me! I had such an awesome time, and it was really easy since I've beaten the game a bunch of times already! I know, I'm such a college kid- party animal!! Haha, but it's ok kuz I enjoyed myself! I love Ocarina of Time! Best Zelda game, EVER!!!

Working Girl!

You may have guessed from the title, but this post is obviously about Subway! I just got my first part-time job there! Since Kim has been working there since last semester, she was able to pull some strings toe get me a job! I know understand how it feels to not want to go to work... Haha, oh well! I need the money for the Japan trip, which seems to be going pretty well! Although it seems that I'm going to have to pay for the trip myself, I'm hoping that with this job I'll be able to get enough money for my summer tuition!! >.<
Anyhoos, I'm really enjoying this job! Everyone's pretty cool, even if they are mainly druggies, they're just awesome people! And the work is real easy... I work mainly nights, especially closing, and everything's been going smoothly. It gets tiring every now-and-then, but I'm always able to wear a smile. And some of the people may be frustrating at times, but work is work, and I'll just have to deal with it for now. I'm just happy that I was fortunate enough to get this job, sure it's just sandwich making and pays minimum wage, but there are a lot of people who are unemployed right now in America, and I'm one of the lucky few! Oh, I'm also going to try and use Subway as an opportunity to ween myself back onto meats for Japan, so I'm planning on trying all of our sandwiches!! Too bad employees still have to pay 1.08$ for our 6inch, but I'll deal. Well, wish me luck at my new job!! ^-^

Voice Acting Workshop w/ Crispin Freeman (Part 2)

Scene Study Class:

Before coming to the classes, Crispin sent an email asking us to record ourselves reading a monologue so that he can hear what our voice sounded like. So, after a short lunch break, we headed back to our classroom and started working in partners. Crispin set us all up and started handing out pages and naming the characters, "You're Alice & you're the Red Queen," I was so jealous, wishing I could play a British Alice! "You're Nala & you get Simba," I screamed this time... I just LOVE Lion King, ok!? Then he came over to my partner and handed him his script, "You're Gru and-" I got super excited, "Wait... Gru, like, Gru?? Despicable Me, Gru!?" "And you're Margo." I've gotta say, I was content....
Is it sad that I was saying everyone else's lines with them?? I mean, they were lines from The Lion King! Of course, I knew every word! But it was so great to watch the other groups work their scenes! And Crispin was being really helpful and giving everyone a push in the right direction. And he asked every single one of us,"Now, what are you trying to get from your scene partner??" Having begun his training on-stage, he really knew his stuff, and I loved getting advise from him.
Then it was our turn to perform. I was pretty confident, seeing as how I had few lines, and our reading went real well! When we had finished, Crispin even praised me on being able to keep my character during all of our retakes! Yay! I love getting praised!! ^-^
"We're not going to deliver cookies until we do dance class..."
The second round, we switched around partners, and this time, I got to play Coraline! I was pretty happy, especially because Coraline is not only my sister's favorite movie, but the name of my first niece! But this scene proved to be a bit more difficult. This time, Crispin wanted us to work for it and to really dig deep into our characters! I don't think we did super amazing this time, but I'm pretty happy with the recordings that we achieved!
After everyone had finished we started to pack up and everyone just sat around and talked, while I gave an interview for Izobel. But, my favorite part about the whole class was that Izzy seemed to really like me! I mean, she could have just been trying to be nice, but she started asking me if I was going to be coming back and that she really wanted to see me work some Anime scenes! That made me so happy!! I really wish I COULD come back!!
Oh, I wish Crispin had more classes when I was actually free!! But, all-in-all, this was the highlight of my Spring Break! I can't wait to get to practice!! Of course, I can't upload the recordings Crispin sent me, since they're confidential; however, one day I'll be a big-time voice actress and my voice will be recorded in all sorts of shows!! So, I guess you'll just have to wait! ^-^

"I almost fell down a well yesterday, Mom...  I could have DIED...!"

Voice Acting Workshops w/ Crispin Freeman! (Part1)

During Spring Break, I was given such a wonderful opportunity: to take two voice acting classes with Crispin Freeman!
My friend, Stacy, was able to get us free plane tickets, thanks to her father's frequent flyer miles, & I was able to get us somewhere to stay- my dad's place! It was perfect! All we had to do was pay for the two classes, which were an easy 380$, total! There was no way we could turn this down! So, for weeks and weeks, we were extremely excited to spend a full day workshopping our voice acting skills and building our connections and foundations with 6fellow voice acting dreamers!

Sunday~March 18th, 2012
Archetype Class:
Stacy & I got to class 10minutes early; luckily, the building where the classes were being held were only about a 30minute drive from my dad's house. We eagerly waited for the other students and our dear teacher to make their appearance! Finally, just before 10AM hit, Crispin walked through the door followed by his wife. Also, I never knew that Crispin was married, but I have to say that Izobel is so sweet and adorable! The two of them make such a cute couple!!
Anyhoos! The point of this class was for us to figure out what type of characters we are able to portray; as Voice Actors, we will need to be able to know how to sell ourselves. Crispin brought with him audition pieces from several games (none that I've played) and we were instructed to pick two characters that we believed fit our voice type. I knew right away I needed to find little boys or young girls, this was going to be easy! Well, so I thought...
I went straight for the fantasy world and found myself a bright and uppity girl named Lolo. She seemed perfect, I'd be able to get her lines easy! Then I tried to switch it up a bit and go for a princess! I found myself in White Knight Chronicles (which, by the way, looks like a great game!) and chose Princess Cisna. I was ready to try them on the mic, even if I was a little nervous! When I got up there, I read for Lolo first. Crispin said that I had matched my voice perfectly, all I needed to do was get the emotional character, you know the acting part... Haha... So, we had a few takes, but what really took the longest time was that I spoke way too fast. Me, speaking fast?? Like I haven't heard that before! So, I tried really, really hard to slow myself down, and after a few takes, we got a good recording! Then I went for Cisna. I had matched the profile and the voice and I was able to read the lines well, but what Crispin told me made a ton of sense: I could play Cisna, but I just wasn't quite comfortable with that type of character. Izobel then made a comment that made me smile, "You're more suited for the scrappy, tom-boy girls! The ones that make fun of the boys and kickass!" Haha, well that's great 'cuz I love the scrappy characters best! ^-^
For Stacy's round one, she chose a little boy from the same game Lolo was from, but when she went up to the mic Crispin stopped her, turned to me and said, "Lisette, go ahead and read that." I was kinda surprised, but I did it and what did we learn? I would be the person playing the little kids and Stacy would usually be placed as my older sister. Before they even knew that Stacy and I had come to the classes together, they said that we needed to work together and switch characters, so we did! I gave her Cisna, and I took the little boy! I also found the character Izobel had suggested for me, Cisna's scrappy best friend, Yulie, and I loved her!
Yulie from White Knight Chronicles
(That's right! I'm a Badass NOT a Princess!)
I was the first one at the mic this time and I chose to put little Tik first. It was super easy for me to find his character, having been a crybaby when I was little, I got his lines down in one take, in the second take Crispin asked me to be more whiny and dramatic, and when we got it and he burst out saying, "Now THAT was GOLD!" I couldn't help but smile. Then it was Yulie's turn, Izobel was happy. It was obvious that the scrappy, best friend, Yulie was more my type than Cisna, and I had a lot more fun! After the first class was over, I wanted more! I loved being surrounded by fellow dreamers, and I couldn't wait till the second class to begin!

Happy Spring

Wow, to think that it's already April and only about a month and a half till my Freshmen year of college is OVER!! It's gone by so quickly thank god and it's been so much fun and stressful at the same time!
I haven't been able to post recently, since before Spring Break, because everything just picked up so quickly! But this week, I'm pretty free and will be going home, so I'll be able to catch up! I wish I could have taken a lot more pictures of everything that's been going on, but boy! has a lot happened in the last couple of weeks: Spring Break in California, Voice Acting classes with Crispin Freeman, getting my first part-time job, Nicky's BoyScout crossover, playing Ocarina of Time (again), discovering iTunes, prepping for the Japan trip, tons of new Anime, &&& "REEFER MADNESS"!!!! >v<
Everything has just been so crazy and on top of each other, I've had hardly anytime for rest... But, each of these events deserves the full story to be told, so I'll be posting about them throughout the rest of the week!

See Ya Then!
^-^

Elfen Lied

Kim told me that she wanted to watch a "horror" Anime & the first thing I thought about was:
Elfen Lied.
Now, Elfen is NOT a horror Anime, but it's really gory and suspenseful and one of my favorites!
From the moment it opens on the scene of Lucy escaping from the lab and blood splattering across the walls while people's limbs randomly fly off of their bodies, you get hooked...!
There's blood & gore, romance, mystery, suspense, comedy, beautiful music & art, & lots of bare skin!
^-^
Lucy is so sweet and I love her flashback story, & Nyu is just so adorable!!
But I absolutely LOVE Nana and Mariko!!
Nana is so sweet and funny and Mariko is just so evil... I think Mariko is my favorite character, actually, because she's so cute and evil... I just love it!
But when Mariko meets Kurama and they die together, I nearly cried...
I think I cried the first time I saw it...
We watched it dubbed, and I love all of the voice talents!
It completely threw me off guard when I realized that the voice of Kurama (Jay Hickman) also voiced Fool from Kaleido Star!! I just couldn't take him seriously... -_-
Then there's Luci Christian- whom I LOVE- playing Mariko!!! && Cynthia Martines as Mayu!!
Also: Sasha Paysinger as Nana & Kira Vincent-Davis as Nyu/Lucy!!
>v<
Elfen Lied aired back in 2004, but it's fan base is still running strong today!
This Anime series, having a mere 13episodes, is a must see among all Anime fans!!
The characters are great and dynamic and the story is heart wrenching and just fantastic!
>>I'm so glad that Suzette owns the box set! I can watch it whenever I want!<<

Tagged

So, Carolyn & I were tagged in a post from Mary and she wants us to answer some questions. So here we go!

1. When was the last time you cried?
Actually, about an hour ago, this show came on (no idea what it was) and at its very beginning, the mother of 3teenagers ran out of the kitchen in a panic. Less than 5minutes into the episode, we find out that their dad had passed away. So, I got hooked into watching 2episodes where the family is having to deal with their loss... and I was cried every now and then... Ya, I'm a real sap when it comes to things like that! >.<;;

2. What's something you could never go a day without?
Music. Whether it's listening to my MP3 player or iTunes, I'm always listening to music. And if there isn't actual music being played, I'll eventually start singing.

3. Have you ever been horseback riding? How was it?
YES! When I was younger, and we lived in ElPaso, we used to go horseback riding every other weekend! Since then, I've been on several trails for hours at a time while we were camping.  I just love horses, and I love going really fast!

4. Big city or small town? Why?
I'd prefer a moderate city... Or, like Denton, a small city that is very close to a big city...? I like how calm and relaxing small cities are, but I like having multiple opportunities of entertainment that can come only from a big city.

5. What's your favorite article of clothing that you own?
My charm bracelet. I've always wanted to collect memorable charms that represent me and my mom finally got me one for graduation! The charms are so pretty and since then, I've added a PoohBear charm, Ariel charm, DisneyWorld charm and Mickey charm! ^-^

6. What's one thing you're really awful at?
Cooking... Not only am I absolutely horrible at it, I get bored with it quite easily. I'm just a hazard in the kitchen: cutting myself with potato peelers, aluminum cans, knifes, and multiple burns on my hands, arms, and face... You know, my mom, dad, and grandparents all cook very well, but my sister and I can't, so I just don't understand... -_-

7. What's your favorite thing to do when you're bored?
Either grab my computer and do random crap online or read a book. I also sing and act out random scenes in my head, but I do that when I'm not bored as well... sooooo.....

8. What's something you miss from your childhood?
The cartoons. They used to be the best, but now they are so stupid and lame, I don't understand how kids watch them...

9. Do you think it's easy to tell when you're lying?
Nope! I'm a great lier because I've learned from the best: my mom! I'm pretty creative and so I can come up with detailed stories easily, and I'm great at making myself believe them. So, if I can believe it, then I can make others believe it; besides, every lie derives from some bit of truth, you know...

10. Would you rather receive flowers or a card with a heart-felt message?
I keep every card a receive. I seriously have valentines from 3rd grade still! And if it's really good, I place them on my desk, there are nine on there right now. Although I think flowers are beautiful, and I love receiving them as gifts, no matter how hard I try, I just can't keep them alive and when they die, I feel so bad! >.<

11. What's your favorite Classic Love Van song? (I needed to throw in a little inside joke!)
Uhmmmm....Uuuuuuuhmm.... Ya....... I... can't answer this... Kuz... I don't know....  ~.~ ((gomenasai!!))

Mini A-Kon

Went to a free Anime Convention here in Denton, and even though it was really small
& there wasn't much going on, I had SO much fun!
^-^
Soul from SoulEater
There was a lot of fan art ranging from Elementary school to High School

It was real great being able to see all the Voice Actors,
They seemed to be having tons of fun.

From L-R: Jad Saxton, Sonny Strait, Cherami Leigh, Alexis Tipton, Micah Solusod
But my favorite part about the whole event, was being able to meet all the Voice Actors

Bruce Elliott was hilarious, & not till today did I really know who he was.
BUT!! When I found out that he voiced Richard Moore from CasedClosed,
 I flipped out!!
>.<

Alexis Tipton was very bubbly and humorous & had an adorable voice, including musically.
"Sexi Lexi" has lent her voice to countless cutesy characters like ChibiJapan & Kumajiro,
as well as the creepy and psychotic Young Queen Victoria from Kuroshitsuji!

Sonny Strait was a lot of fun and I was so excited to meet this legend!!
As well as 100s of other masterpieces, he voiced
Krillin from DragonBallZ & Maes Hughes from Fullmetal Alchemist!

Cherami Leigh was so sweet and (Ha!) only a bit taller than me! ^-^
Not including her film work, this beauty has played characters like
Elicia from FMA:Brotherhood & Patty from SoulEater!

Micah Solusod always had something funny to say, & he loved to make fun of himself!
His best known role is Soul from SoulEater but a couple of personal favorites include
Subaru and Kamui from CLAMP's Tsubasa: Tokyo Revelations!

Jad Saxton (pronounced "Jade") was really sweet and kind, yet timid.
It was her first time as a guest at any convention, & it was surprisingly easy to talk to her.
To think that I'd be able to find the amazing Voice Actress who portrayed Jacquline in SoulEater on Facebook and able to talk freely to her about Harry Potter & Anime!!
(No Way! O.o)
I can't wait till the next time I see her, she just seems like such a cool person!

Invader Zim

All in all, Mini A-Kon- my first con of 2012- was such a fun experience!
I can't believe I got so much out of this free convention!
I'm so excited for more great things to happen throughout the rest of the year;
till then, I plan on working on building relationships and networking so that, one day,
I'LL be an invited guest to such an event!!
^o^

The Cupboard

Thanks to Kim having to go on a Gluten Free diet,
we found this really cute cafe' that's only a few blocks from the campus.

The Cupboard Natural Foods is actually a fully organic grocery store with a delicious cafe'. They played very soft and earthy music (with a few 80s mixed in) that really helped to relax you. But I swear Kim and I were the youngest people in that place. The elderly seemed to flock to the cafe' that night.

Kim got some turkey sandwich... thing, with a Fruit Basket Smoothie and a slice of Gluten Free Carrot Cake, which was very yummy! I got a Hot Veggie Sandwich that included avocado, spirulina, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a lot of deliciousness! I also had a Power Smoothie which contained a whole bunch of my favorite fruits mixed with Protein Powder. Gawd, I love protein powder in shakes, it just adds to the whole taste and is just amazing! I was so depressed when I had finished it! My order only came out to a bit over 11$, which is pretty good for all that I got, so I was impressed.

And the decor was amazing! I mean, a place that has a beautiful and unique painting like this has to be great, right??
Besides groceries and the cafe', the Cupboard sold a whole bunch of organic beauty products. I was very intrigued with all of this stuff, but it was way too expensive for me to buy anything... I never knew that there was a such thing as organic hair dye, but I wouldn't really use any of it. Sorry, but I'm not a trustworthy person when it comes to my hair, cute pictures though!

They also sold organic chocolate!! And chocolate is like my passion... Not only was there a whole bunch to choose from, but they wrapped the delicious treat with pictures of super cute animals!!! And not just any animals, Endangered Species!! How could I resist that!? But I did... Except that Kim bought me one, so I'm very happy! I haven't opened mine yet, mainly because it'll break my heart to rip an adorable otter open...
But I think I'll save my wrapping because it is so cute! >.<
Another thing that really made me happy is that they used brown paper bags, you just don't see that now-a-days! However lame it sounds, I decided to keep the bags for recycling.
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm all into saving the planet, and all that jazz, I just wish I could do more than buy a couple of products from an organic store... Too bad I don't have enough money...
This is all I bought. This is all I could do to contribute to helping the planet...
Sorry world!!
>.<

Eating Habits

I have some really horrible eating habits that I am trying desperately to break: never eating breakfast, always snacking, skipping lunch, eating crap food so I don't have to go downstairs (God Forbid) to get an actual meal! So, I've decided that in this new year I am going to work on breaking these habits!
I've created my own eating schedule that fits perfectly into my school schedule. This new regime makes it so that I HAVE to eat breakfast everyday, since I have classes beforehand, I mean; I'm already awake, why not eat?? Then, just I head out to my afternoon classes, I grab a plate for lunch. And every night, I eat at Maple, the Vegan cafeteria! I love eating their food! It's so yummy and healthy! And if I ever feel like snacking, I just grab an AppleSauce or fruit!
Another adjustment I'm having to make along with this bad food habit, is my working out. One of my goals this year is to just make myself healthier. With a change in my diet, I've also started actually working out! I make sure I do AT LEAST one thing of working out everyday, and I only have to go to the gym twice a week, since I have dance classes twice a week, I feel more motivated to get in shape. I'm feeling very optimistic at the start of new year! I can't wait till more and more things start happening! ^-^

Spring 2012 Schedule

I was pretty excited for this upcoming semester mainly because I would be able to take dance classes! It's also going to be much easier because I only have one core class, English, which is one of my best subjects!

Friday: English 1320 @ 8-8:50AM, Japanese 1020 @ 9-9:50AM.

I am NOT a morning person, but I needed to have more free time so I would be able to get a job! And it's actually really nice having so much free time; I usually don't know what to do with myself! >.<

Bertie The Bean!

I got my First Car!!
&He's SO CUTE!

Dad and Jennifer drove up to SanAntonio to deliver him to me.
We all met at the Cheesecake Factory and before the meal, the waitress handed me a box...
In the box, there were hundreds of jellybeans, including some Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans.
I was told to dig throughout the beans and inside I found the car key!
We all went outside and there was my car, with a giant bow!

I love Bertie and he is so good to me!
I'm so excited to start driving around Denton and Dallas!
^-^

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

WELCOME TO 2012!!
Unlike the people who say that the world's going to end this year, it feels more like a new beginning to me!
I've already posted that I have these goals set for the upcoming years,
but I actually took the time to create a 5year plan!
But I'm not going to post them until 2016, when the 5years are up.
I want to see how much I'll be able to accomplish in the next few years, I'm going to work really hard to do everything on my list!

First things first: I need to start taking care of myself, like working out and eating better foods.
Also, I absolutely NEED to get a job this Spring Semester!
But mainly because my top goal for the year is: GO TO JAPAN!!
I'm going to do my best to make my dreams come true!
So keep your fingers crossed for me!
^-^
