Let's Go to Japan!! (Parts 7&8)

HiHi!!
Well, I finally got around to
making the next two videos for my
"Let's Go to Japan" series!!

In this episode,
we visit the Tsukiji Fish Market!
Although it was closing when we arrived,
we were able to have some real Japanese sushi!!
I was even adventurous and tried some...
Well, interesting ones...!
This was one of the best days
because we made some friends
at a Baylor meet-and-greet!

On this day,
we packed up and rode the Shinkansen
all the way to Tokai City!
There we got to meet our Host Families!!!
Kimie-san is so precious and I miss her so much!
This day was a lot of fun,
and there are only more to come!
(^-^)

^^I also felt the need to upload this video!^^
It's just 10minutes worth
of us riding the Shinkansen!
We have some interesting conversations,
from school work to Poke'mon
and whatever other conversations can be had
while traveling Japan!

The New Normal

HiHi!!

For some reason I've decided that I should start watching more
American television shows like,
Glee, Pretty Little Liars, etc...
One of the shows I've gotten myself into happens to be:
The New Normal

The show is from the creators of Glee,
Ryan Murphy and Ali Adler,
and you can definitely see it in this new show.
The New Normal is all-around hilarious,
and a lot of fun; however,
if you don't like vulgar language or crude racial jokes,
I suggest you don't pay Nana much attention!

A basic synopsis:
Bryan and David are an adorable couple that dream of having a baby.
While searching for a surrogate,
Goldie, a single mother who is looking for a way out of her "dead-end" life,
agrees to have the baby for them.
When Goldie's Nana follows her and Shania to LA,
the family's crazy-meter jumps to an all new level!

Well, just in case I've peaked your interest
into watching one of my favorite shows:

Till Next Time:
Remember to KEEP IT GENKI!!

Naruto Shippuden Review

HiHi!!
**Spoiler Alert**
As mentioned in an earlier post:
I'm quite the NaruTard!!
(>v<)
I've already explained WHY I love this show,
so for this review, I'm just going to talk about the series itself
and the feels that I've been having!!
So, without further adieu!
Here's my Naruto Shippuden Review!!!!
The second series of the Naruto franchise
begins two years after Sasuke deserts the village and Naruto leaves for training.
The first arc involves the rescue of the Kazekage, Gaara, as well as
learning more about the Akatsuki's involvement with the Jinchuriki.
We get to see Naruto and Sakura's new powers as they take on Deidara and Sasori,
and the strength of friendship between the Land of Fire and the Land of Sand.
>When they found Gaara dead, I was crying....
And when Lady Chiyo brought him back, and his whole village was there!!!
UGH!! .... I was just so happy for my baby, Gaara!!!<
In the 2nd Arc we meet Sai and Captain Yamato.
With Kakashi out of commission, this new Squad 7
is sent to infiltrate Orochimaru's Layer.
There, Sai is revealed to be working against them,
but Naruto's able to work his magic:
Sai starts believing in this strange shinobi who can change people's hearts.
We also discover why Captain Yamato was specifically chosen to head this team:
once an operation of Orochimaru's,
Yamato was given DNA of the 1st Hokage's;
therefore, as long as Naruto is wearing Tsunade's necklace,
Yamato-Sensei will be able to create a sealing jutsu
in order to keep the Nine-Tail's chakra in place.
Naruto takes on Orochimaru,
which makes out to be a GREAT, as well as,
SUSPENSEFUL couple of episodes!!!
But after Yamato-Sensei puts a stop to Naruto's leaking chakra,
the group find their way to the hideout.
After getting past Kabuto,
Squad 7 finds Sasuke.
This whole sequence of searching and discovering Sasuke is amazingly well done!
They used it to open the whole series,
and the use of camera angles and character breathing is fantastic!
Nothing really happens though.
Sasuke entices Naruto,
but Kabuto and Orochimaru talk Sasuke out of fighting,
and they leave...
The 3rd Arc is pretty short.
Team Kakashi investigates the disappearances of tombs from a shrine,
and end up meeting an interesting group of shinobi.
One, a lady who can create real-life topography with chakra;
Another, just large man, who uses Earth Chakra to turn his body to stone;
The 3rd, a lady who possesses multiple spirits in order to use every Chakra Nature;
And the leader, a mysterious man who uses lightning chakra
and the reanimation jutsu.
(At the start of this Arc,
Naruto learns about the use of Chakra Natures
and tries to control his Wind Style).
After defeating these shinobi, for the moment,
Team Kakashi return to the village with a new member- Sora.
^Some of the funniest Scenes of this arc!!!
After Sora has just been accepted by the village,
things turn for the worst.
He overhears tell of Asuma-Sensei having been apart of the
Twelve Guardian Ninja of the Fire Nation,
just like Sora's father.
Sora learns that it was Asuma who supposedly killed his father,
and now the elders were discussing killing Sora as well.
So he runs away.
He meets up with the renegade group from before
and help them infiltrate the Leaf Village.
They cause a blackout, and send out Zombies to attack
(The reanimation jutsu).
All of the village is sent out to defend its barriers,
Shikamaru heading the attack!!
(>w<)
As Team Kakashi takes down each of the hidden shinobi,
and saving the village,
Naruto persues Sora who had tried killing Lady Tsunade.
We find out that Sora's father, Kazuma, was never killed;
in fact, he was the leader of these shinobi
and was trying to kill Sora.
Kazuma had implanted small amounts of the Nine-Tail's chakra
into Sora when he was baby, attempting to create a "weapon."
When Sora loses control of the power,
Naruto is the only one able to stand up and reach him,
the only one able to pull Sora back from the darkness.
Kazuma is finally stopped,
and the village is saved.
The fourth arc is my FAVORITE of what is currently Dubbed.
Squad 10 is sent on a mission to capture two Akatsuki:
Hidan and Kakuzu.
Ino and Choji are in one group,
while Shikamaru and Asuma-Sensei are in another.
It's Shika's team that is attacked.
Although they struggle to do the most they can to stay alive,
they have no chance against the immortal Hidan.
The battle ends with Ino and Choji coming for the rescue,
but not before Asuma-sensei is cursed.
Next Episode,
Asuma-Sensei dies.
sjiagrin hgirgjimvfjifghrioagu;.vjrwghjkllnçƒ≈®
GAH!!!! I was crying for HOURS!!!!!!!
AND MY BABY:
^SERIOUSLY, ME THIS WHOLE EPISODE

!!!!!!!!!!THE FEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!
...........( ; ; ).............
Continuing on:
After having a mental breakdown that had me
bawling and gasping breath,
Shikamaru jumps back with a vengeance.
He gathers Team Asuma
and they head out with Kakashi
to take down Hidan and Kakuzu.

What I love about these sorts of episodes
is that the plans are never revealed
until that final scene where Shikamaru lays it all out on the table for us.
So, because my baby is a fucking genius!!!!
Shikamaru is able to come up with a brilliant plan
to kill the "immortal" Hidan
and to inflict great damage to Kakuzu,
whom is currently in the midst of an intense battle with Kakashi.
And so, with one final blow from Naruto,
this arc is complete.
Asuma-Sensei has been avenged,
and Squad 10 is at peace.
Shikamaru returns to finally visit Asuma's grave,
there he meets with Kurenai.
After leaving Asuma's lighter as a tribute on his grave,
Shikamaru promises Kurenai to protect their baby with his life.
Because now he understands,
now he knows who the King of the Leaf Village is.
(^-^)
The Next Arc is our Second Filler Portion.
Team Kakashi, joined by Squad 9 and Team Guy,
are sent to find Orochimaru's hideout.
....again...
This time, however, they find a group of Orochimaru's people
who are following orders from Kabuto.
Our team discovers that they have a young boy with mysterious powers.
As they attempt to protect the boy,
they are attacked by the Three-Tailed Beast,
a Giant Sea Turtle residing in the middle of a lake.
While fending off Orochimaru's team,
Shizune leads a group to try and seal the Three-Tails.
In the end, they fail at sealing the Jinchuriki,
and the boy leaves to be with the woman who has
chosen to take the role of his mother by leaving Orochimaru's service.
The first half of the next arc
consists of Sasuke building his own team
after killing Orochimaru and absorbing his life-force.
He brings together 3shinobi:
Suigetsu, a big-mouthed guy who can turn his body to water;
Karin, a sensory type ninja who can also heal;
Juugo, who was the originator of the curse mark even thought he's kind-hearted-
each of them worked for Orochimaru.
After hearing of his demise by Sasuke's hands,
they join together to form
Team Hebi (snake).
The Second half of this arc
is all about Jiraiya-Sensei going after the Akatsuki alone.
He manages to infiltrate the Village Hidden in the Rain,
but once inside he meets with
the Akatsuki Leader,
Pain.
While fighting the
Six Paths of Pain,
Jiraiya realizes that they all possess the Rinnegan,
a visual juts that one of his previous pupils had as well.
After trying to reason with Nagato,
Jiraiya resorts to his final measure:
Sage Mode.
However, even using his strongest jutsu,
Jiraiya-sensei is no match for all six pains.
His hastily writes an encoded message onto the grandpa toad's back,
and sacrifices his final breath to help him escape.
He was at peace, though,
having been able to pass his knowledge onto the
"Child of Prophecy."
And so here was ANOTHER NIGHT
of me CRYING INTO MY PILLOWS!!!
I just never thought I'd see Jiraiya gone!!
My heart was totally broken,
but I was also worried how Naruto would take it!
But, the good news:
there were truths revealed during his flash backs!!
They FINALLY revealed that Minato was Naruto's father!
I mean, I had already known since forever,
but it was SO GREAT to finally have it revealed!!!
o(^O^)o
To conclude this arc,
Sasuke finally reaches Itachi.
And they finally have their own EPIC BATTLE,
and I mean,
EPIC.
All-the-while, Naruto and everyone from the lake
are in pursuit of Sasuke and Team Hebi,
but are held up by Toby.
After Sasuke kills Itachi,
Toby, who we discover is Madara Uchiha,
takes Sasuke for his own.
In their hideout, Madara explains everything to Sasuke.
Everything about Itachi being forced to kill his clan,
his sacrifices for his village,
and his desire to protect his only little brother.
And so,
there goes my heart breaking AGAIN!!!!
Because I KNEW Itachi was so sweet and whatever,
so to finally learn the whole truth!!
Uuuuuugh.... It's just not fair, man...
However, I'm also really just tired and annoyed with Sasuke now!
After everything Itachi did for him,
Sasuke decides that he wants to take his anger out on the Leaf Village.
So, Team Hebi becomes Team Taka (falcon).
And they head out,
under the Akatsuki garb.

At the end of this season,
Naruto and everyone return to the village.
Soon after arriving,
Naruto is summoned to see Lady Tsunade.
The old toad that had the message engraved in his back has arrived.
He delivers the news to Naruto that Jiraiya is dead.
After a hasty briefing on the battle with Pain,
Naruto excuses himself.
That night, after getting himself some ice-cream,
like what Jiraiya used to to do,
he starts crying.
Soon Iruka-sensei arrives
and although he gives Naruto some words of encouragement,
Naruto soon falls into a depression.
Now, I'm sure you've already guessed it:
.....I was crying for like 2-3episodes straight....
Whether it was from sadness or from laughter,
I just kept crying.
Also the fact that I realized that my dub was about to run out!!!!!
I was seriously FREAKING OUT!
After all this time,
YEARS following Naruto and Naruto Shippuden's English Dub,
and I was going to be forced into the Japanese!
( ;___; )
Anyways, ^THIS^ was the face I got to end the season with!!!!
Shikamaru got fed up with Naruto
so he took him to talk with Kurenai.
Shikamaru explained how although both of their Sensei's were gone,
it was now their turns to take their place!
Shikamaru had already promised to take Kurenai and Asuma's child as his own apprentice,
and he helped Naruto understand, that he needed to move on,
and to realize his position in the village.
So, with that,
my two boys set out to figure out what the decryption meant
so that they could bring down Pain and the Akatsuki,
in order to protect their King:
the children of the future.
There you have it!!
My Naruto Shippuden Review!
Wow, that took forever, but it was fun reminiscing about everything!

I've got to say, I'm actually pretty relieved with the Japanese version!
And I LOVE what's already happened!!!
Everything is now so much more intense!!!!
I'll be sure to post about it all as soon as I'm caught up!

Here are Naruto Shippuden's Current Arcs in Order:

The Kazekage Rescue Arc
Sasuke and Sai Arc
Twelve Guardian Ninja Arc (filler arc)
Hidan and Kakuzu Arc
Three-Tails Arc (filler arc)
Itachi Pursuit Arc
Tsuchigumo Kinjutsu Arc (filler arc)
Invasion of Pain Arc
Konoha History Arc (filler arc)
Five Kage Summit Arc
Adventures At Sea Arc (filler arc)
Confining of the Jinchuriki Arc
Chikara Arc (filler arc)
Shinobi World War Arc

The English Dub only fully reaches through
the Itachi Pursuit Arc,
which also technically includes the
Tsuchigumo Kinjutsu Arc.
They're currently dubbing
the Invasion of Pain Arc,
so once that's done,
I'll definitely have to go watch it!

As of this moment though,
I'm almost done with the
Adventures At Sea Filler Arc,
so that means I'm kinda sorta almost caught up!
(>.<)
Well... Whenever I do catch up,
you'll know!
