Update...

Well, it's nearly the end of January and the last actual post I made was, what, around Halloween time?? Wow, it's been a while. I guess a quick update is in order??
First off- I actually DID complete my 31days of Halloween Horror Movie Challenge, I just never found the time to complete my posts! Who knows? Maybe I'll finish them sometime... The last major series I watched was the Ju-On & Grudge movies, which, by the way, were absolutely TERRIFYING! And then I completed the challenge by watching other movies like, Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas! On actual Halloween Day I dressed up, as Pooh Bear of course, went to class, hung out with friends, then returned to my room where I took a a fantastic 5hour nap!
Throughout the month of November I mostly killed myself by working my Herbalife products, working the business a bit, jumping through hoops to find a ride home, and getting ready for finals. It was a very, VERY hectic month, but everything worked out. As for my Herbalife (which will have a more in-depth post very soon), I haven't jumped levels to Supervisor yet, buuuuut, I've had amazing results! In less than 2months, I lost nearly 15lbs &&&& over 30inches off my entire body!!! I couldn't believe it!! Actually, I didn't believe it until I saw a before & after picture of myself! It's so crazy how amazing I feel everyday & after seeing these major results, I plan to kill it before Spring Break hits!!
Finally, we had reached the end of the year and everything was happening all at once! Finals came and went, and I did fine. I was immensely overly-stressed with life, so I honestly went into every exam with a "FUUUUUUUU-" attitude. (Totally serious, by the way). Then I returned home, where stress-levels continued to be stretched to the limit! Let's see, I got home on the 17th, and my Grandparents arrived on the 21st. Translation, everyday leading up to the 21st was spent cleaning the house and attempting to keep the peace within the household. Don't get me wrong- I absolutely love my family, and I would never trade any of them, but family is family, and that's all I have to say on the matter... And so the holidays were among us: I spent most of my time split into spending time with Grandma (she refused to leave the house, ever), running errands with Grandpa (he always wanted company for trips to the store, yay, me...), playing games with Nicky (he ended up grounding himself just before the holiday break due to grades, so this was a bit difficult), babysitting every now-and-then, and finally getting to see all of my best friends. I also spent everyday doing my best to "eat clean & healthy," but failed epically. Christmas was a ton of fun, and so was New Years, but the best was my birthday! This year (last year) I turned 21, a very special number. For more than a week all I was basically allowed to drink was alcoholic beverages! It was horrible!! Haha, but I had a great time with everyone. I'll have to make a more detailed post about my birthday later.
Before we knew it, it was the new year! On the 1st, I hung out with friends, and on the 2nd I was on a plane to California! Honestly, my days in California are usually my most relaxing of any holiday, mainly because I'm usually just lazying about in my pajamas all day, playing video games, or just hanging out with my dad! They hardly ever make me actually DO anything, which makes for a great break for me since I am always on-the-go! The night I landed I was surprised with my new car: a cute bright blue Nissan Versa Note! She's a 2014 & her name's Ariel (teehee). I love her, and it is so great to have a car again! Now I'm not just stuck! Anyway, I worked a couple days with Jenny, and about a week later, Dad & I were road tripping back to Texas! We drove Ariel from Chino, California to El Paso in one day; the next morning we stopped into Odessa to visit our newest family member, Emma, who was barely a week old; and then made our way home to San Antonio! We had one day of break, then early (like, 4AM early) we were on the road again. I dropped Dad off at the Austin airport, and made the rest of the return trip to Denton alone. It was strange because there was no traffic and the sun had risen and I was already at the school. So, let's just say, Ariel got herself a good workout!
And here we are, a week ago school started and I decided to jump headfirst into Fit Camps (bad idea). I'm helping with at NTXNutrition now and with Fit Camps every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I'm only taking 15hours this semester, but Crackin' Up meetings should be starting soon, so that'll be taking up time, along with my Herbalife. Besides all of this, some very interesting events have arisen... Hint, hint: I will be kinda going on my first ever "date" tomorrow afternoon...! (O_O)
I don't know what I'm exactly supposed to be feeling about everything right now, but I guess I'll have more to post about tomorrow???? Till then!

Sincerely Yours,
Lisette Monique Diaz

October Wishlist...

And again, I am so behind on everything in life!!
Buuuuut, I refuse to fall too behind on my Blogging! One thing I learned from this weekend's Extravaganza, was to never give up and to just keep working, it will all work out in the end! So that's what I'm going to do! I'll just have to have a 2week's worth of a Horror Movie Marathon! But for now, I really wanted to post this: My month's Wishlist!

I don't usually post about "Wish Lists," but I realized that there were so many things coming out in October that I want so baaaaad!! Firstly, Ariana Grande's 1st Album, "Yours Truly," was released in September & I have yet to go out and buy it!! I listen to it all of the time on Spotify, but I need to buy the CD for car rides! I love Ari's powerhouse voice so much, and her music is so gorgeous! I can't wait till I finally have it!
Miley's new CD came out at the beginning of the month as well! I honestly don't care what anyone says, I absolutely love Miley's music, and I always have. I have yet to listen to the whole album, but I need this one to add to my collection! And kudos to you, Miley, for being you no matter what anyone says!
The next big release was Rick Riordan's The House of Hades! You can only imagine how upsetting I was when I realized I currently didn't have the funds to preorder a copy! I have been waiting for a year to read this & I CAN'T! Also, Riordan needs to STOP posting on Instagram about his book tour, because it just continues to depress me!! (>__<)
And we can't forget the release of this fabulous game!!! This is all my friends have been talking about all summer and I can't believe I don't have the money to go buy it right now! This is also the only game I've followed from its announcement, sneak-peaks, and everything! Everyone has theirs already, and it is driving me crazy that I can't play it!! (T - T)
The new line of Herbalife SKIN was announced this weekend at Extravaganzaaaaa!!!! It looks so amazing and I can't wait to place my order!! And it's so reasonably priced for all that it offers!!
And lastly, this beauty is back!! The Pumpkin flavored Formula 1 for Herbalife is so amazingly delicious, but it's only available during the holiday season! This year, I plan on buying a couple of canisters in order to keep a stock on-hand!

There you have it, my October Wishlist! I really hope I can raise enough funds to get it all!! Of course, my bills should always come first, and there is always Christmas... But I would still love to be able to work my butt off these next few weeks and just buy it all on my own!

Sincerely Yours,
Lisette Monique Diaz

Hello Fall...

It's that time of year again!

As always, I have been immensely busy with the start of school, work, Fit Camps, Theatre, Japanese, and just life in general! I suppose now is as good as any a time for a "catch-up" post!

I bid farewell to my family and got myself moved into my new dorm room! Mozart Hall is the upperclassmen dorm, so it's nice and quiet most of the time and the room comes with a fridge and my own bathroom! For one glorious week, I believed myself lucky enough to be roommateless, but a week after school started, Markie moved in. She's not bad, kinda nice, and only sometimes does some of her, I suppose, "habits" rub me the wrong way... I also got fish!! Sadly, within just a couple weeks, 3of the original 4 DIED!! And, since I am currently with no car, I had no way of returning for a refund! I swear, it wasn't my fault! My Catfish, Gary, is the only one left! It's so sad...

My very first weekend back and I had already been dragged into helping NTXNutrition and running their Fit Camps for September! My new HERBALIFE definitely deserves a post of its own, so all I'll say is that I LOVE IT!!!! Even though it has near completely taken over my LIFE!

Another major part of my life has always been my love for the Japanese Language and Culture! I am back in classes at school, and it is still as annoyingly difficult as ever with my teacher, but I love it all the same. I've even taken to joining her weekly dance rehearsals of Yosakoi!
Just a couple weekends ago, I went with a group of friends to Dallas' Akimatsuri! The others had never been, so it was fun to walk around, play games, and watch performances! One of the girls that tagged along, Amy, was a Taiwanese exchange student and she was so into everything that was happening, it was so cute! She also kept turning to one of the other girls, Haruka, a Japanese exchange student, and asking questions about everything she experienced! It was adorable.

This semester I'm taking 18credit hours at school.... I can even let that speak for itself for how busy I've been! My classes include: History, Japanese, Stage Management, Acting Realism, Astronomy- Stars and the Universe and Theatre in the Holocaust. Surprisingly, I love every one of my classes! Each of them, of course, has its pros and cons, so I'll definitely have to expand on these classes in a separate post! Besides school, work, and everything else, my friends and I have finally officialized our own UNT Theatre Organization! Crackin' Up: An Improv Group for Young Audiences!! Our first meeting isn't until next week, so I'll definitely have more to say later!

Another major part of my life this past month have been all the shows I've been watching! And because I am currently caught up with the Naruto Shippuden Anime, I restarted on the manga! It has been so great getting to relive all of these stories without any fillers! Besides Naruto, I've been watching a LOT of shows... I blame it on the fact that I am always busy with everything else! I've watched through the second season of The Walking Dead and season 1of The Game of Thrones; I am caught up with Glee, Once Upon a Time, and The Legend of Korra on TV; I am catching up on Doctor Who (Season 3) and Detective Conan; I'm still waiting for the Pretty Little Liars season premiere; and I just started on The Musical (Korean Drama) &&& American Horror Story for Halloween!! So, ya, Netflix has not been good for me! (>u<) Of course, there are a million Animes that I need to complete, and a number of shows I've been told to watch, so I'm sure I'll be kept entertained for a long while!

I'm so happy to be back to blogging! There are a couple of posts already planned to be made, as mentioned above; however, besides those, it's October!! And this year, I've decided to challenge myself to watch a different Halloweeny/Horror movie every night! Along with this October challenge, I'm hoping I can make weekly posts reviewing what movies I watched! I'm so excited- there are just so many classic horror movies I haven't seen!!

Sincerely Yours,
Lisette Monique Diaz

End of the Semester

HiHi!!
It's been a while,
but thank goodness school is almost over!!
Before it officially hit Summer Break,
I figured I could share some of the last big events
that I got to be apart of this last month of school.

I finally put in my 2weeks at Subway!
Now I'm solely working on
Herbalife!!

I love all of my Teammates!
Walking into the Club is Always
so much fun, since everyone's so
full of energy!

& in just 3Days
I sold 500VP and jumped up to
Senior Consultant!

& On the completely opposite spectrum-
UNT Celebrated Earth Day by giving out
Free Food!

I'm normally not a hot dog fan,
but I can't pass up FREE FOOD...!

We also celebrated
William Shakespeare's 449th Birthday
in my Theatre History Class!
It was great because we had just finished a show,
"The Lady Revealed,"
the weekend before
and the playwright just so happened to be
my teacher, Dr. Harris!
((the play is about Shakespeare & his Dark Lady))

& just yesterday,
Mandy, Stephanie, Kassie, & I
(Team Avatar)
took a little field trip to H-Mart,
a Dallas based Korean shopping center.
Their dumplings were so good,
I can't wait to go back!

Finals Week starts tomorrow for me,
wish me luck!!

Till Next Time:
Remember to KEEP IT GENKI!!
